Can I purchase products directly from Kompare?
Unfortunately not, Kompare is not an e-commerce store. Kompare is an advanced product comparison engine that scans and updates product information several times a day. Kompare shows the list of stores, prices, information about the store, their contact details, and the store rating as rated by users. Purchasing of products is done on the merchant site itself.
Who should I contact to get service for a product that I purchased through Kompare?
Kompare is not responsible for products purchased by users from merchants. Any enquiries about product delivery, the products, and any relevant charges should be addressed with the merchant through which the purchase was made. The information about the merchant can be found in the Kompare store directory, or alternatively, by mailing Kompareinfo@kompare.co.za
How can I find the products I am looking for?
There are several ways by which you can find your desired products: You can navigate through the various categories on our site, or you can make use of the search to find your product. Each category contains a unique set of filters and sorts the most relevant products in the category to match your specific search filter so that you can easily find what you are looking for. In some instances, it is possible that the product you are looking for is not sold by the merchants shown on Kompare, therefore not appearing on our site.
How up to date are the products and prices on Kompare?
Kompare scans and automatically stores updated information from merchants several times a day. The information presented on the site is taken from the stores that are listed on Kompare, and it is their responsibility to ensure that their product details are up to date in order for the correct information to be displayed on Kompare.
I want to purchase a particular product at a lower price than what currently appears on Kompare, how can I do this?
On the product page on Kompare, you can sign up for a price alert which will be sent directly to your cell phone or e-mail. If and when the price has dropped below the amount you specify, you will be notified.
I signed up for a Price Alert and have already purchased the product, how can I now cancel the price alert?
By accessing the “My Kompare” link at the top or bottom of the page from anywhere on the site, you have the ability to then enter the “Price Alerts” section and click on “Show All”, which will show you all the items you have marked for price alerts. By clicking on the X button next to the product that you no longer want to have a price alert for will delete it from the list of price alerts.
I want to buy a product, which model would you recommend?
Kompare displays many products and provides many tools that will help you in making a smart purchasing decision: product reviews , product ratings , buying guides, professional reviews and more. Beyond these tools, Kompare maintains objectivity and does not recommend any products over others.
Can Kompare help me install a new device or get specific operational information?
Kompare can help you find the product that suits you best and will provide you with an updated price comparison. With regards to installation issues, you can contact the store, dealer or service provider from which you purchased the product.
